Crimson Artist Series Raw Descendant Beech Electric Guitar (PR0026)

The Crimson Artist Series Raw range incorporate the most unique and stunning woods Crimson's luthiers can find. This guitar is made from the same piece of wood as our other Beech model, no. PR0019. This particular cut of beech is very interesting, as it has beetle holes left on the side (as seen in photos!) When Mike went down to see Ben and the gang at Crimson, he hand selected some pieces of wood for the luthiers to make us some guitars out of. This beech was chosen by Mike, and when Ben picked it up, one of the wood beetles was still alive and crawled out. (No beetles were harmed during the building of this guitar!) The neck is made from wenge, as is the backplate of the body, and the fingerboard is made from smooth and naturally streaky ebony. The guitar is equipped with Crimson's own designed and UK-made humbucking pickups, with a coil tap option to change the pickup sound to single coil.
