Crimson Raw Series Descendant Yew/Aluminium Resin
With the amazing Raw Series, Crimson use the most interesting and unique timbers their luthiers can find. This Descendant model is made from a one-piece raw yew body. This piece of wood had quite a sizable gap down the middle, so the innovative guitar builders at Crimson decided to fill it with an aluminium resin to make the body stronger, and the end result is a stunning, one-of-a-kind instrument. The body is hand finished with Crimson's own finishing oil. The neck and backplates are made from wenge, and the neck features a comfortable "C" shape profile, 25.5" scale length, all-access joint, and sleek ebony fingerboard. The Descendant Yew is equipped with Crimson's hand wired Aquila P90 pickups, and also features Gotoh open backed tuners and a Crimson-developed Exilis 43mm nut.
