Epiphone Limited Edition 20th Anniversary Jack Casady Bass Outfit

Location: Beverley

Epiphone presents the Ltd. Ed. 20th Anniversary Jack Casady Bass Outfit commemorating the all-time best selling hollowbody electric bass designed by Jack Casady, co-founder of the bands Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. When Epiphone and Jack Casady first released Jack's signature bass in 1997, it was the culmination of years of experimentation by the innovative bassist to create an instrument that had superb electric tone but also had the response of an acoustic bass.

The Jack Casady Bass features laminated maple back and sides with a flame maple veneer top. The durable mahogany neck is glued-in and features a 34" scale length, 1960s rounded bass profile, 12" radius fingerboard and 20 medium jumbo frets punctauted with classic pearloid "Trapezoid" inlays. The Jack Casady bass features a custom wound Low-Impedence JCB-1™ Humbucker pickup, which took almost two years to carefully develop, and employs a three-position transformer to shape the frequency response. Other features include die-cast "Clover" classic style 19:1 ratio tuners tuners, nickel hardware, and a 3-point adjustable bridge exactly like the one Jack Casady uses on stage.

This pack comprises of the Jack Casady bass, deluxe 20th anniversary gig bag, deluxe 3.5" padded lather guitar strap with 20th anniversary logo, and a hand-signed certificate.
