Orange OR50H Guitar Amplifier Head MKII

Orange launched the Graphic in 1972, the amp which came to define their sound. Years later the Graphic became known as the "pics only amp" due to the use of hieroglyphics instead of text on the front panel. For Orange's 40th Anniversary in 2008, they released a limited run of the OR50 limited edition, to pay homage to the amps of days gone by. Whilst it is not a reissue of the Graphic amplifier, the OR50 was still a huge hit and was adored for its distinctly vintage voice. Back by popular demand, the OR50 was reissued in 2012. This OR50H features traditional single channel layout, with 50 watts of output and a three-stage gain section. The star of the show however, is the OR50's HF Drive control. As the HF drive increases, so does the power amp presence. This control is capable of introducing incredible levels of screaming gain. OR50 is amazingly versatile, going from gritty and dark, to smooth and rich. The possibilities for tone are endless with this authentic, nostalgic Orange amplifier head.
