Classic Bolt-on Feel with a Sound All its Own. The CE 24 pairs PRS’s traditional body combination of the mahogany back and maple top with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. This CE24's maple top is finished in a unique shade of Trampas Green, which is complemented perfectly by the natural wood finish of the back. The maple neck features a pattern thin shape, 25" scale length, and rosewood fretboard with iconic PRS Birds inlays. The CE24 is equipped with 85/15 pickups, further maximising the guitar's inherent tone and clarity, Paul designed these pickups to have remarkable clarity as well as extended high and low end. The controls consist of one tone, and one volume with a 3-way switch, and coil-tap. Also featuring PRS patented tremolo (molded), PRS Low Mass Locking tuners, and nickel hardware.
The original CE was introduced in 1988 and offered players PRS design and quality with the added snap and sparkle of traditional bolt-on guitars. Returning after nearly a decade of being out of the lineup, the CE 24 is back and better than ever.
