Taylor 322ce 12-fret Electro Acoustic Guitar

The Taylor 322ce 12-fret is a stunning new guitar for 2016. The Grand Concert body shape is ideally suited to finger-picking styles, although it will of course cater to other styles as well. The 12-fret construction simply means that the guitar's neck is joined to the body at the 12th fret, instead of the usual 14th. This means the neck is slightly shorter and more manageable to play, and the bridge is positioned closer to the centre of the lower bout. This shape and size provides a slinkier feel, with easier playability, but with a tonal response that boasts surprising power and sustain for a smaller guitar. The 322ce 12-fret is made with Tasmanian blackwood back and sides, which produce a strong mid-range focus, paired with a mahogany top to even out the tonal response and provide a rich sound. And the body's shaded edge burst stain finish is a gorgeous visual feature. The neck is made from mahogany, with a silky ebony fingerboard decorated in small diamond inlays. The new 322ce also features Taylor's Expression System 2 pickup system, which truly and accurately amplifies the natural tone of the guitar. This guitar is both aesthetically and sonically beautiful.
