Introducing Taylor's brand new innovation - the ground-breaking V-Class Bracing System. Andy Powers has re-imagined the Taylor Guitar, designing a new "sonic engine" which transforms the way the top vibrates to dramatically improve the sound. This new innovation marks a bold departure from X-bracing, producing notes that are louder, longer sustaining, and more in tune with each other. The 900 Series stands out as Taylor's most luxurious rosewood guitar. This brand new 2018 V-Class bracing model features all-solid construction, with back and sides of Indian rosewood, paired with a Sitka spruce top. The body features a soft Venetian cutaway, making access to the higher frets easier, along with a hand-made beveled ebony armrest, which simultaneously increases picking arm comfort, and lifts your arm off the soundboard so as not to dampen the resonance. The body also features ebony binding, a paua rosette with koa and ebony purfling, and paua/koa trim along much of the body and neck. The neck is made from mahogany, with West African ebony fingerboard and binding, featuring Ascension inlays, and a satin finish. The guitar features Taylor's Expression System 2 electronics. The breakthrough behind-the-saddle transducer which amplifies the natural sound of the guitar, not just the sound of a pickup. Also featuring Gotoh 510 tuners, whose 21:1 gear ratio allows for precise tuning, a black graphite nut, and a new guitar label that bears the signature of master guitar designer Andy Powers.
