"Thanks to breakthrough Taylor design, the GS Mini Bass offers players a remarkably inviting small-scale acoustic bass that’s compact, lightweight and ultra-comfortable on the hands." Despite a condensed 23-1/2 inch scale, the GS Mini Bass creates natural sounding bass notes, making it even more impressive than its GS Mini sisters. With this scale length - about ten inches shorter than a standard bass guitar - the GS Mini Bass is incredibly comfortable and effortless to play. Another factor is the custom nylon-core strings with phosphor bronze wrap wire. These were developed exclusively by Taylor and D'Addario for the GS Mini Bass, and in fact, no other strings will work on it. Together with Taylor's patented dual-prong bridge pin design, the bass yields an incredibly slinky hand feel. With condensed fret spacing as well, the bass is physically easier on the hands. This limited edition version of the GS Mini Bass features a body made from layered flame maple back and sides, and Sitka spruce top. The bass is fitted with Taylor's ES-B on-board electronics with a digital chromatic tuner, and comes with a GS Mini padded gig bag, so it is portable and plug-in ready.
