This Taylor T5z is a 2017 Fall Limited Edition, crafted from sapele back and sides with a Neo-Tropical mahogany top, featuring a touch of retro flare with the Arctic White finish inspired by the hot rod cars and electric guitars of the 1950s. Acoustic? Yes. Electric? Yes. The Taylor T5 blends the best of both acoustic and electric guitars. This limited edition version of the T5z Classic DLX features a more compact body than the original T5, a 12-inch fretboard radius, and jumbo frets, which add up to a fast, fluid playing experience that makes string bends fun, and feels more familiar to electric players. The T5z is equipped with a three-pickup configuration of an acoustic body sensor, a concealed neck humbucker, and a visible bridge humbucker, plus five-way switching and on-board tone controls. Also featuring Small Diamond inlays, ebony fingerboard, ethically sourced from Taylor's Cameroon mill, and the guitar comes with a T5 deluxe hardshell case.
