Dovey Guitars was founded by luthier Leigh Dovey in 2023. Leigh Dovey is the owner and founder of the world renowned electric guitar company PJD Guitars. Leigh's late father (Philip John Dovey) was the head prop maker at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent garden and taught Leigh many of the skills he would later using in building guitars. Dovey guitars epitomises the skills learnt over the last 15 years.
